Philosophy 128: History of Modern Philosophy
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to give a systematic introduction to early modern philosophy, examining the major developments in Western philosophy after the Middle Ages, with special emphasis on the period from Descartes to Kant. The course will focus on the relevance of early modern philosophy to contemporary philosophical concerns.
